AIDA32

AIDA32 is a discontinued freeware system information, diagnostics, and auditing program written by Tamás Miklós that runs on Microsoft Windows operating systems. It displays detailed information on the components of a computer. Information can be saved to file in formats such as HTML, CSV, or XML. AIDA32 is a portable executable file which does not need to be installed on the host computer. Development of the program was stopped on March 24, 2004.[1][2]

In April 2004 Miklós was appointed Executive Vice President of Software Engineering Research & Development at Lavalys, a privately held company based in Montreal with offices in Hungary and Italy. The successor of AIDA32 is commercial Lavalys product Everest now renamed AIDA64 in the latest release.[3]. Lavalys distributed a freeware version of Everest up until version 2.20, which is still available via freeware distribution websites.

The freeware Everest Home Edition was discontinued on December 1, 2005. The Everest line was discontinued on 2011 after the fusion of Lavalys and FinalWire. The principal product is AIDA64, taking the place of Everest.[4]
