Introduction
AFC Energy PLC is a developer of low-cost alkaline fuel cells.[1][2] In 2009, AFC was considered amongst the best performing companies on the AIM - the London Stock Exchange's international market for smaller growing companies.[3] AFC Energy posted pretax losses of 2.29 million pounds for the financial year 2009-10, down from 2.96 million pounds one year ago.[4] In January 2010 AFC Energy won a fuel cell order from Centrica [5]
