The Athletic Union "Irakliou" (Greek: Α. Ε. Ηρακλείου) is the oldest sports club in Irakleio, Attica, Greece. founded in 1929 as GM Iraklio. Fosters the football men and has blue and white colors.

In 1929 he founded the Athletic Club of Iraklio, the first sports club in the district. And followed by other clubs: theHermes, theA.O.P. Iraklio,theStarandHercules.In the early postwar years the club competed in local leagues EPSA and gave the opportunity for young people in the region to play football.
