Associazione Calcio Prato is an Italian association football club, based in Prato, Tuscany.
Prato currently plays in Lega Pro Prima Divisione group B, having last been in Serie B in 1964.
The team's colors are blue and white.
History
The club was founded in 1908.
In season 2010–11 the team played in Lega Pro Seconda Divisione ranking 3rd and was beaten from Carrarese in the final of the play-off, but August 4, 2011 it was later admitted to Lega Pro Prima Divisione to fill vacancies.[1].
Famous players
Notable former players include Christian Vieri who has played for Juventus F.C., A.C. Milan and Internazionale FC amongst others as well as Alessandro Diamanti who played for Fiorentina, Livorno, West Ham and currently Bologna and Massimo Maccarone.
