5-MeO-NMT, or 5-methoxy-N-methyltryptamine, is a lesser-known psychedelic drug. It is the 5-methoxy analog of NMT. 5-MeO-NMT was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. In his book TiHKAL (Tryptamines I Have Known and Loved), the neither the dosage nor the duration are known. 5-MeO-NMT produces few to no effects. Very little data exists about the pharmacological properties, metabolism, and toxicity of 5-MeO-NMT.
