2x45
2x45 is an album by industrial/post-punk band Cabaret Voltaire, released in 1982 and re-released on CD on The Grey Area in 1990. The title comes from its original format - two 45 RPM 12" discs. The album features an industrial take on funk music, starting a trend featured on later albums. This was the last studio album by the band to feature Chris Watson as a member.
Sides A & B were recorded at Western Works, Sheffield, October 1981. Sides C & D were recorded at Pluto Studios, Manchester, February 1982.
