24218 Linfrederick is a main belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1288.6097458 days (3.53 years).[1]

The asteroid was discovered on December 7, 1999 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro. It is named for Linda Frederick, a teacher at Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania who mentored a finalist in the 2008 science talent search.
