East Asia Zone
The following two teams were originally slated to enter the qualifying play-off in the East Zone:
However, after the withdrawal of Liaoning Whowin (China) and disqualification of Persipura Jayapura (Indonesia) from the 2012 AFC Champions League qualifying play-off East Asia Zone, only 3 teams were left, meaning there was only one final round loser in the East Zone instead of two. Therefore, both teams automatically advanced to the group stage.
