1LegCall is a mobile dialer application that uses existing mobile handsets to deliver a call solution using VoIP technology. To make a call using 1LegCall, the user needs to download and install the application to a compatible mobile phone and log-in using a user account like other VoIP calling services.[2] The 1LegCall VoIP Dialer uses g729 codec for voice transfer.
1legcall launched in January 2009.
In March 2010 TalkFree, Inc reported over 2-million minutes a day in its first year over 1legcall.[3]
