1999 Major League Baseball Draft

The 1999 First-Year Player Draft, Major League Baseball's annual amateur draft of high school and college baseball players, was held on June 2 and 3, 1999. A total of 1474 players were drafted over the course of 50 rounds.

Future major leaguers Noah Lowry (19th round, 585th overall), Rich Harden (38th round, 1145th overall), and Pat Neshek (45th round, 1337th overall) were also selected during this draft, but did not sign with the teams that selected them. Lowry was subsequently drafted for the last time in 2001, Harden in 2000, and Neshek in 2002.Kevin Tillman the brother of Pat Tillman was drafted by the Anaheim Angels in the 31st round.
