1993 Dakar Rally also known as the 1993 Paris-Dakar Rally was the 15th running of the Dakar Rally event. 154 competitors started the rally, which returned to its original route.[1] The rally was won by Bruno Saby; Stephane Peterhansel won the motorcycle class for the third time.[1]

* The Central Europe Rally was organised as a replacement race in the Dakar Series by Amaury Sport Organisation after the terrorist attacks in Mauritania in 2007, on the route of the 2008 race, just days before the start in Lisbon.
