July 27: Manila Beer handed Reinforced champion Tanduay its first loss of the tournament with a 121–113 victory, the Rhummakers were 5–0 going into this game, the brewmasters finish with a 3–3 record and won for the third straight time after losing its first three games of the eliminations, Manila Beer had previously defeated Alaska, 112–100 and RP-Magnolia, 104–92.
November 25: In one of the most-talked upon exciting finish, Brewmasters import Michael Young let go a three-pointer with one second left that swished the net as Manila Beer pulled Tanduay's hopes deeper in its bid for a Grandslam with a 111–108 victory, Rhum import Rob Williams earlier tied the count at 108 with a triple with a second left and its almost cetain the game will go through overtime until Michael Young's heroics, the Brewmasters, along with Ginebra, are one win away from the finals with a 3–1 card while Tanduay fell to 1–3 in tie with Great Taste.
November 27: Arranged a title-showdown with crowd-favorite Ginebra San Miguel, after defeating Great Taste Coffee, 122–121.
