1980 Masters (snooker)

The 1980 Benson and Hedges Masters took place between February 6–10, 1980 and was held in the Wembley Conference Centre. 10 invited players took part.

Terry Griffiths who just 9 months after winning the World Championship won the Masters beating Alex Higgins who made his third final in a row. Griffiths won the title by 9–5 with a break of 131. An attendance of 2323 attended the Conference Centre for final session of the match, which was a record at the time.
