The 1924 PGA Championship was the seventh PGA Championship, which is now considered one of golf's major championships. It was played from September 15-20 at the French Lick Springs Golf Club in French Lick, Indiana. The field of 32 golfers qualified by a 36-hole qualifying tournament played on Septembet 15.[1][2][3] They competed in 36-hole match play rounds[1] in a single-elimination tournament.[4][5][6][7] Walter Hagen defeated Jim Barnes, 2 up, in the final.[8]
