The 1887 Wimbledon Championships was a tennis tournament which took place at the All England Club.[5] From 1880 to 1887 the men's singles draw fell from 60 to 16, this was attributed to the superior expertise of the Renshaw brothers and Herbert Lawford.[5]

Lottie Dod defeated Blanche Bingley, 6–2, 6–0.[3]

Herbert Wilberforce / Patrick Bowes-Lyon defeated James Herbert Crispe / E. Barratt-Smith, 6–3, 6–3, 6–2.[4]
