18142 Adamsidman (2000 OG47) is a main belt asteroid discovered on July 31, 2000 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Adamsidman was named after Harvard educated inventor Adam Sidman in 2003.[1] He later developed and patented a handheld, multi-axis camera stabilization device utilizing MEMS gyros.[2]
