1537 Transylvania (1940 QA) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on August 27, 1940 by G. Strommer at Budapest.
It was a lost asteroid until L. K. Kristensen at Aarhus University rediscovered it along with 452 Hamiltonia along with numerous other small objects in 1981[1]
