Áurea ("Aury") Cruz (born January 10, 1982 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico) is a female volleyball player from Puerto Rico, who competed for the Women's National Team at the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan. There the team ended up in eighth and last place, having received a wild card for the event after Peru and Kenya withdrew. Cruz was named Best Server at the event.

College

Attended University of Florida which competed in Division I (NCAA) - Southeastern Conference (SEC). There she established many school records. Guided University of Florida to its first ever NCAA championship match where they lost to University of Southern California (USC). On her last year at U.F. she was nominated for Best Player of NCAA Division I. She was a three time AVCA Division I First Team All-American (2001, 2002, 2003).
