Moers (also known as Mors or Mörs[1], in older texts also Murse or Meurs) is a town in the Wesel district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located on the left bank of the Rhine.

Moers is very successful in volleyball. The MSC (Moers´ Spors Club) plays in Bundesliga, the highest German volleyball-league. MSC was established in 1985 and was once German Champion - In 1989.
