Zygophyseter ("Zygomaturus bellows") is an extinct genus of whale related to the modern sperm whale. The common name of "killer sperm whale" refers to both its relation to modern day sperm whales, and to the fact that it was similarly sized to a killer whale. Its fossils date from Tortonian or Late Miocene.
