[edit] Merging hystricomorphous

I agree with the proposed merge. I'm not sure this article would expand to the point where separation of the different types is warranted. We should also redirect the various types to here. --Aranae 15:46, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Myomorphous sciurids

I know nothing: Bell (2004) cites WW Korth & RJ Emry (1991) in Journal of Paleontology 65(6):984-994 re possible myomorphic modifications in the sciurid subfamily Cedromurinae, but this may well be too obscure or too hypothetical to mention. Myopic Bookworm 16:47, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

It's a nice paper, but I'm not fully convinced of their argument. Nevertheless I think it should be included. I'll add it back in. Thanks for pointing this reference out to me. It was a good read. --Aranae 22:20, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
