Zyad Barakat Chaabo (also spelt Ziad Shaboo, born January 1, 1979 in Damascus, Syria) is a Syrian football player who plays for Al-Jaish in the Syrian League and the Syria national football team. He usually plays in the striker position.

- Zyad Chaabo started his career at Hutteen club in Syria, and after seven seasons moved to Syrian League giants Al-Jaish.
- He went on loan to Persepolis F.C. on January 31, 2007, on a contract which lasted until the end of the Persian Gulf Cup (2006-2007) season.
- In the Syrian League Season (2007-2008) He went on loan to Al-Karamah.
