Zwijndrecht (pronunciation ) is a city and municipality (Dutch: gemeente) located in the province of South Holland, the Netherlands. It is at the southern tip of the island of IJsselmonde, at the confluence of the rivers Oude Maas, Beneden-Merwede, and Noord.
During Carnaval its inhabitants are called Peebossers.
