I've been alerted to a possible copyvio on this page. I'm not sure what it'll amount to yet, but in the meantime it'd be helpful if concerned contributors could source some of their statements here... we'd need to source this one sooner or later anyway. The claim of a copyright violation seems curious to me, as the article seems to me to have consisted of a few simple details which were hardly obscure to New Orleanians familiar with local history, but I certainly understand we must err on the side of caution. In the mean time I've replaced the temporary red link with a basic short stublet, adding a published reference to the yearly Mardi Gras Guide (though that's just one of a great number of sources where the identical information can be found). -- Infrogmation 19:01, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
