The Zuiderkruis is a planned multifunction ship for amphibious operations. It has a large helicopter deck with 2 landing spots and a ro-ro deck. It will be the main support ship next to the 2 LPDs L800 Rotterdam Class for the Royal Netherlands navy, The ship has command rooms for war staffs and a large hospital room with 20 Surgeon rooms. With this ship, the Amphibious plan for the navy is complete with 2 LPD and 1 JSS.
