You have reached the userpage of Zsinj. I've been associated with Wikipedia since May 2005 as an anonymous user, registered in November 2005, and edited for the first time as a registered user on January 5, 2006. Ironically, I joined Wikipedia to join the counter-vandalism effort. Within three weeks, I surpassed 1000 edits and havn't slowed down since. I became Wikipedia's 989th administrator on August 23, 2006. Nowadays, I am active at Speedy Deletions and the WikiProject for Open Proxies, along with the Counter-Vandalism Unit. I am a member of the Florida WikiProject and am active over at Commons. I constantly monitor the status of the Wikimedia servers and can usually be found in #wikimedia-tech on IRC trying to help out where I can.

[edit] A Little Real Life

I am currently a student of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University majoring in Electrical engineering with a minor in Information technology. I work for the Residential Network division of the IT department as a student employee mostly repairing student machines in both the hardware and software spectrums. I am the webmaster for the ResNet website [1] at ERAU. I live on-campus which gives me the availability to be a first-responder to network outages.

In short: Check out the article. In Length, I took on the name Zsinj several years ago when I read the book Star Wars X-Wing: Iron Fist (Book 6 in a series). In this book, a short hefty man by the name of Zsinj was a self-proclaimed Warlord who commanded the Super Star Destroyer Iron Fist. I have used this alias so long and so much, that I now hold varying places on Google's Top 10 for the word "Zsinj" (however the .tk is expired and i won't be renewing it due to the purchase of a .com). [2]

[edit] Long Term Goals

This user is currently working on
CAT:CSD, WP:CVU, WP:OP, CAT:RI.

Basically, this is stuff that needs doing in no particular order.

Goal: Recommit others to Untagged Images. I did a lot of work getting the 2nd round completed, but now attention had turned away from the project and the rate at which the current untagged images are getting processed is decreasing.

Started: March 27, 2006

Status (December 2006): There is now a good following of admins that do their best to keep WP:NT up to date and backlog-free.

Goal: Commit myself to the WP:BACKLOG. These aren't getting any shorter any time soon!

Started: August 2006

Status (December 2006): Currently working on the always backlogged CAT:CSD.
