ZP "Zippy" Theart (born January 22, 1975 in Clanwilliam, South Africa) is the vocalist for British power metal band DragonForce.
Theart joined the band after bandmates Herman Li and Sam Totman saw his advertisement in Metal Hammer. Li said that "He was the first guy we met who could actually sing what he said he could."
According to his DragonForce profile, his idols are "Bon Jovi, Helloween, Judas Priest, Metallica, Megadeth, Skid Row, Tesla, 80s hard rock, soft rock, glam rock etc."
Theart also sang in Sam Totman's "side project" Shadow Warriors.
Also, according to his profile page on the DragonForce website, ZP plays acoustic guitar.
