Zosimo Jesus "Jess Paredes" Paredes II is a Filipino government official currently running for the Philippine Senate. Paredes was born on May 27, 1948 in Manila. He was the former head of Presidential Commission on the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFACom) and Assemblyman of Regular Batasang Pambansa representing Ifugao from 1984-1986. He run for the Senate during 1987 Legislative Elections under the Grand Alliance for Democracy Party, the same party of Joseph Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile but lost in the counting. He is related to Ducky and Jim Paredes (one of the member of APO Hiking Society and a composer-singer).
