[edit] Addition of Albanian placenames

Adding the Albanian name for the U.S. state of Washington is not helpful to the vast majority of our readers. Are you aware that there is an Albanian language wikipedia? You might want to consider making such contributions there, as they would benefit our Albanian readers. Jkelly 23:19, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

I have no opinion on whether or not non-Albanian names are appropriate at the articles Korçë and Gjirokastër. If you feel that they are not, make a case on the talk pages of those articles that they should be removed. Do not express your unhappiness about non-Albanian translations being in articles about Albanian cities by adding the Albanian name to articles on U.S. states, or Greek / Turkish / Republic of Macedonia cities without consensus from other editors to do so. Also, please consider asking for help from other editors on proper referencing and English spellings before editing articles directly. Unsourced and poorly-written contributions are unlikely to remain in an article. Jkelly 23:31, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
