ZOEgirl was a pop rock band performing mainly for Christian audiences. It was formed of singers Chrissy Conway-Katina, Alisa Childers and Kristin Swinford-Schweain. The group released their self-titled album in 2000, which includes four top-five radio hits. In 2002, ZOEgirl received a GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the Year. Before disbanding, the band successfully released three more studio albums, as well as remix album and a limited edition single.[1]

[edit] Disestablishment

On September 2006, by means of their now-defunct ZOEgirl fan club site, the group announced that they would quit recording music as a group so that members could tend to their personal objectives:

  • Chrissy Conway had a baby (Haylee Raine Katina), and was writing and recording for a solo album titled Beautiful Redemption. Although this album was supposed to be released in February 2008, she instead formed a group called ColemanBlue.
  • Kristin Swinford-Schweain gave birth to a baby named Stella Rose Elisabeth Schweain[3] on February 13th, 2007. She is currently recording songs for her upcoming album "Days of Eden"
