Zocca is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 45 km southwest of Bologna and about 35 km south of Modena. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,716 and an area of 69.1 km².[1]
The municipality of Zocca contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ciano, Missano, Montalbano, Montecorone, Montetortore, Montombraro, and Rosola.
Zocca borders the following municipalities: Castel d'Aiano, Castello di Serravalle, Guiglia, Montese, Pavullo nel Frignano, Savigno, Vergato.
