Ziya Songülen

Nurizade Ziya Songülen (born in Istanbul, died 1936) was the founder and first Chairman of Türkiye Süper Ligi giant Fenerbahçe SK between 1907-08.[1] He has also played as a right back for the club. He graduated from Saint Joseph's College and bought Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium (named Papazın Çayırı in that time) for 17 Ottoman golden coins.[citation needed]
