Zipcom (sometimes Zipcom plc or Zipcom Telecommunications Limited) offered Telecommunication services in the United Kingdom.

  • 1997 October - RadioTel Systems Limited [1]
  • 2000 April - Zipcom plc is incorporated.
  • 2000 June - Zipcom acquires RadioTel Systems Limited shares.
  • 2000 July - Zipcom enters flotation as Zipcom plc.
  • 2000 August - RadioTel Systems Limited changed its name to Zipcom Telecommunications Limited.
  • 2001 June - Zipcom buys HighwayOne (via Zipcom plc owned Ziptel Limited) [2]

  • 2002 September - Zipcom set to acquire Transigent Limited (the holding company of GX Networks Ltd). [4]
  • 2002 October - Zipcom plc completion of the acquisition of Transigent Limited [5]
  • March 2003 - Zipcom plc renames to GX Networks plc [6] [7]
