[edit] Fair use for Political views of Lyndon LaRouche

The image ZionismCampaigner.jpg is being linked here; though the magazine cover is originally copyrighted in December of 1978. I (MaplePorter) feel it is covered by fair use because:

it is a low resolution copy of a magazine cover;
it does not limit the copyright owners rights to sell the magazine in any way;
The artwork of the magazine front-cover does not have significant resale value.
the image on the cover is important for our non-profit, academic description of Lyndon LaRouche, because there is no adequate way to textually describe the nature of the imagery used on LaRouche pamphlets.

This image is of a magazine cover, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher of the magazine or the individual contributors who worked on the cover depicted. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of magazine covers

to illustrate the publication of the issue of the magazine in question
with the publication name either visible on the image itself or written in the image description above,

on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law.
