Zinsco

Zinsco is an electrical circuit breaker and distribution board brand.

Mostly considered obsolete. You can not buy their panels any more, however many electrical supply houses and home inprovment shops still carry breakers for them. Many times when remodeling a house it is cheaper to completely replace the panel with a new br/ge/ite defacto panel than replace two or more breakers.

Incidents concerning the safety and reliability of the equipment are being collected by a New York electrical inspection service.[1]
