Zina Mahjoub

Zina 'الثعبان' (Literally translated to The Snake) Majoub, was a popular Sudanese poet and song writer during the early 20th century. She also became the celebrated poet Rashad Hashim's mistress and long time muse, inspiring his famous poem The One Who Makes The Sun Shine. Mahjoub was born on the 5th of October 1933 and died on the 28th of May 1957 giving birth to third child.
