User talk:ZimmerBarnes

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A tag has been placed on The Magic Camp, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Leuko 01:02, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Improperly removed AfD notice

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of an article, you may comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Also, moving a page in order to remove the AfD notice is also considered vandalism. You've done it to tragic villain. Do not do this again. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 01:01, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blanking warning

Please do not remove content from Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:The Magic Camp. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Leuko 00:49, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Your comments

No, it is not appropriate for the creator of the article to decide whether any issues related to the nomination for the deletion have been decided due to obvious conflict of interest issues. After 5 days from the initial nomination for deletion, an independent administrator will come along and will follow the community's consensus on what is to be done with the article based on the discussion at the AfD page. If you haven't already, check out WP:DP for a more detailed explanation of the process. Leuko 14:35, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Articles for deletion/Lift and carry

I'm not quite clear on your thoughts at the AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lift and carry. Are you saying it should be deleted unless realible sources are provided as is the policy or Keep in hope that one day it might be able to provide a realible source? [edit] Eva Vertes

This article needs a lot of work. . she won several top prizes at the International Science and Engineering Fair a few years ago, and she also has spoken at several other Canadian conferences. . she was named to the top 20 under 20 in Canada, and was on the cover of Maclean's, Canada's weekly news magazine.

Also, she is from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and has been recognized at the local level of science fairs there. I'd add these changes myself, but I'm not familiar with Wikipedia. She definitely is a relevant person to include, but your article doesn't make it look that way. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 130.113.193.246 (talk) 17:23, 15 March 2007 (UTC).
