[edit] vandalism warnings...
Hello, you should place vandalism warnings on a user's talk page, not their user page... good luck, and happy editing... - Adolphus79 03:20, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] April 2007 edit to Perez Hilton
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Perez Hilton, is not consistent with our policy on attribution and verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.--Agnaramasi 04:15, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] blocking -Jacksonrm
hi, you have placed a blocked template on Jacksonrm's talk page but that doesn't mean that the user has been blocked. Only an administrator can block users. What you can do is lodge a complaint at WP:AIV and some admin will come along to block the offending user. Good luck with your vandal fighting. :) TwoOars (T | C) 08:05, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
And another thing - when you post messages on talk pages you need to sign them with four tildes like this. ~~~~ TwoOars (T | C) 08:05, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] April 2007
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Chris Bailey. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Pigman 04:48, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Chris Bailey, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Pigman 04:48, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
- Hi! The reason you can't find the article or the history is because it has been deleted from Wikipedia. This is why the link for Chris Bailey is "redlinked" meaning there is no article at that location on Wikipedia. I can't remember the specifics of why I placed a speedy deletion tag on the article but probably because it seemed to be about someone who didn't meet the Wikipedia:Notability guidelines. Once the article has been deleted by a Wikipedia Admin, only an admin can see the page and its history. I'm not an admin; I only thought the article met the speedy delete guidelines. Whichever admin looked at the article agreed with my assessment and deleted it. If the admin thought I was wrong, he/she would have removed the tag and left an edit summary briefly saying why the article didn't meet the speedy delete criteria. Hope this explains things. If you have any other questions or need help, please feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Pigman 18:55, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
