Zigadenus sp. - probably the Common Star Lily

Photograph taken by Stephen Lea on East Bay Municipal Utilities Land in the East Bay hills, above Berkeley, California, 13th March 2004.

This flower was initially ID'd as White Brodiaea and used on the Triteleia page. Further investigation shows this is much more likely to be a Star Lily, genus Zigadenus, so it has been reloaded under a new name.

ID based on description and picture in the National Audobon Society Field Guide to California, and in the Jepson Manual treatments online.
