[edit] My Barren, Wasteland of a User Page
Well, this is just about it... I've edited a few things, mainly improving the flow of ideas and grammatical bumps in the road. I try to leave the original editor's text intact and have yet to foray into rewrites. If I feel piece needs that much improvement, I kindly note the areas in which changes would benefit the article, but leave the editing to the original author/editor.
I am starting to grow more interested in the whole wiki community1 and will probably start editing more regularly if I don't receive any negative feedback for my edits. :)
[edit] If I Have To... About Me
I am an unwantedly single polymath who functions great as a leader of a pack, yet can't tell his arm from his leg if his only audience is his own mind. I love too hard and too deep while doing everything possible to sabotage my partner's own connection to me. Oh yeah, I'm pretty open and have learned the hard way that honesty is the best possible policy. I know how it feels to destroy everything one loves simply because one hasn't realized what they really had.
I am the product of my own change. I am the only one who can effect change in myself. I can do amazing things if I want to! I do not have to stop loving to be me. In fact, if I did, I would cease to truly be me.
[edit] Foto Graffy
As the title suggests, I also love to "foto", as I call it. :) If someone stumbles upon this page and is interested in seeing some of my fotoing, I would be ever grateful. I love all kinds of criticism; both simple do/don't likes and detailed critiques are welcome! Leave a message on my talk page and when I see it, I'll let you see a part of me.2
Well, that is if you don't require that I allow you to modify the top-right corner pixel's hue a tad, print out a copy, and sell it with a cd containing the GFDL. No, no, I'm not so full of myself that I think my work is great! But sadly, although I love GNUing things, I have to be careful about sharing images. I would love for others to see and enjoy my work, but I will have to hold off on sharing images I am also selling. I absolutely must say something to any administrators who may see this... I find the number of "fair-use" images I see all over Wikipedia quite hillarious. Yet when I try to upload a file, one which I, the owner, have given explicit permission to be used, it is instantly deleted because it is non-commercial. How about trying to help a new user/artist share his work with the world without having the say over who he shares it with? If there was a specific framework in place that allowed Wikipedia to use images for articles and projects only, I think you would see even more extremely high quality work and have less issues and hassel with copyright infringement. And how about actually looking at the description before deleting an image. But, it's just a thought...
1: Is there a community developed word for its own existence? I'm sure there is, but don't know it!
2: My pictures, silly!..
