Greetings! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Good job on your edits so far. Try to italicize thinks with '' instead of html. Your contributions to Cantonese would be more appropriate at Cantonese (linguistics).
If you haven't already done so, please carefully read the following pages:
- Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers
- Wikipedia:How to edit a page
- Wikipedia:Manual of Style
- Wikipedia:Naming conventions
You can sign your name with ~~~~ (or just ~~~ to leave out the date stamp). If you have questions or doubts of any sort first see the help pages, then do not hesitate to post them on the Village Pump and somebody will respond ASAP. Have fun! --Jiang 03:13, 14 Oct 2003 (UTC)
[edit] Jimbo Visit
I will be at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign 23 October, 2004, speaking at the ACM Reflections | Projections Conference 2004 -
This conference runs from 22. - 24. October 2004; it would be fantastic to have a Wikipedia booth, if I can get volunteers for it.
Do you think you could come? Jimbo Wales 16:28, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] User categorisation
Greetings, Zhongyi! Please accept this message as an invitation to categorise your user page in the category Category:Chinese Wikipedians overseas and removing your name from the Wikipedia:Wikipedians/China#Overseas page. The page will be deleted when all users have been removed. Even if you do not wish to be placed in a category, could you take a moment to remove your name from the Wikipedia:Wikipedians/China#Overseas page? Thanks!!
To add your name to the category, please use the tag [[Category:Chinese Wikipedians overseas|Zhongyi]] to ensure proper sorting.
For more information, please see Wikipedia:User categorisation and Category:Wikipedians by location. --Miborovsky 02:55, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
