Zhang Mengjin

Zhang Mengjin (Traditional Chinese: 章猛進, Simplified Chinese: 章猛进), is a politician of the Zhejiang Province, People's Republic of China. He's the current Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee. He was also the vice-governor (ranked 1st) of the Zhejiang Province.[1]

Zhan was born in October, 1946 in Yuyao, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. He studied both in Hangzhou University (current Zhejiang University) and the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He started his professional career since August, 1968.
In April 1971, Zhang joined the Communist Party of China. He was the General Secretary of Fenghua City, the General Secretary (party chief) of Ningbo Municipal Government, and the Vice-mayor of Ningbo City.
Zhang was the General Director and Secretary of the Water Resources Department of Zhejiang Provincial Government. He was the Executive Vice-governor of Zhejiang Provicne, also a Standing Member/Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, the Deputy Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Government. [2]
