[edit] Rioter or Protester
If someone burns or destroys their own things to make a point, that's a protest. If the same people do that to other people and kill them that's a riot. Isn't that very clear? I'm not saying everyone involved are rioters. But people have conduct themselves in such a manner should be called rioters, no matter what the cause was. -munford (talk) 05:01, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- not all people are rioting, some are peacefully protesting you can't just use blanketing terms.

[edit] Yug
Thanks for your answer. My sentences were peaceful, thanks for your kind reaction ;) Yug 09:12, 19 March 2008 (UTC) I answered on the article talk page.
No problem, most of my answers were trying just trying to brainstorm your ideas and opinions. I'm very happy we can be civil about our ideas because I too get tired of people shouting at me. Its very hard to come up with a NPOV and I am glad we could work it out on the talk page. I'll put my opinion up shortly. Zethus (talk) 09:23, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Just curious
I was looking through the discussion page on the Tibetan '08 protests article, and that led me to your user page. What's it like to be Jewish in Idaho? I'm just curious. FYI I'm Ashkenazi, have a Taiwan-born wife, and also "suck at being Jewish." ;-) tharsaile (talk) 23:57, 19 March 2008 (UTC) ... Thanks, Zethus, very interesting. And many years ago, I also met a pretty Mormon girl who tried hard to get me to watch religious videos and convert. Ha! tharsaile (talk) 13:23, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
