Zero-entry swimming pool

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A zero-entry swimming pool or beach entry swimming pool is a swimming pool with the increasingly common child-friendly feature of having a shallow sloping entrance, rather than steps or a ladder. Swimmers or waders enter into a half-inch (1.25 cm) of water, which gradually deepens as one progresses farther into the pool.[1][2]

Most wave pools at amusement parks and water parks are also zero-entry[citation needed].
