[edit] Your edits to America's Next Top Model, Cycle 8

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from America's Next Top Model, Cycle 8. Please be more careful when editing articles and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Mikeblas 17:08, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Well done on your Excellent cleanup! Ohconfucius 02:42, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

I have noticed that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Mikeblas 06:46, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

I agree. 98.201.84.139 (talk) 20:02, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Amazing Race 12

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. --Madchester 06:47, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please don't remove citations

Please don't remove citations from articles, as you did in America's Next Top Model, Cycle 9. Even if a fact is "confirmed" there should still be a citation to verify it. Otherwise it just turns into "Wikipedia says so" and the article lacks verifiability. Citations should generally only be removed if they are not from a reliable source. Happy editing. —dgiestc 16:02, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warning vandals

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to America's Next Top Model, Cycle 9: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Specifically I'm referring to the edits by Nicolerichiefan that you reverted. I have reverted several edits from this user and I think it's a good idea to keep up with the warnings so that if (s)he becomes a problem (again) there will be a trail of evidence. [edit] Regarding the lightest contestant of Cycle 9

I do not wish to engage in edit wars. But there is absolutely no proof, from what I can find, that Victoria is the lightest contestant of the Cycle. An interview only mentions her weight, but it does not say she was the lightest. If you can provide a source saying that she was the lightest contestant, then that's fine. Otherwise, please don't keep adding that information. CarlosTheDwarf (talk) 16:05, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Jaslene Gonzalez and others

I noticed that you changed the height information on several models' articles such as Jaslene Gonzalez, Adrianne Curry‎ and Saleisha Stowers. I will ask you to please read Talk:Jaslene Gonzalez, especially the section regarding her height in which the editor that added the text explains why the numbers should not be arbitrarily changed. Simply changing the numbers without a proper source to back up your edit will create an edit war because someone is more than likely to revert your information back to the previous version. So please get into the habit of sourcing and referencing the information you insert into the article and read the appropriate talk pages on those articles before making such edits to make sure you're not working against a possible consensus. For now, don't change any more information on models' height without something to back it up. Thanks for contributing. SWik78 (talk) 18:55, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
