[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Sentinel-pose.jpg)Thanks for uploading Image:Sentinel-pose.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:20, 4 August 2007 (UTC) [edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Biomechanoid.gifThanks for uploading Image:Biomechanoid.gif. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 00:47, 8 August 2007 (UTC) [edit] KyuketsukiHi Zenoseiya. I noticed you reverted my redirect of the kyuketsuki article. I suppose it might have looked like the redirect was an unilatteral decision on my side, and I probably should have brought the subject up on the talk page. However, I did explain my reasoning on the Project Japan talk page, as well as on the Vampire article talk page. The term kyuketsuki is pretty much only a translation of the word vampire itself, and there is no distinctive (older) lore around it. Hence the redirect. However, there is potential in the subject matter for a kind of article - a sociological review of vampires as they are portrayed in modern Japanese fiction, perhaps with a different title ("Vampires in modern Japanese fiction"?). Anyhow, I don't really write Wiki articles, I only patrol Japanese mythology related articles, so if you wish to work on this one, I don't mind letting it be. If not, I still think a redirect to Vampire is the best solution for this article... TomorrowTime 17:21, 27 August 2007 (UTC) [edit] Your edits to List of characters in Ed, Edd n EddyPlease cease trying to create characters that do not exist. Long ago, it was established by the editing community that there are 12 recurring characters in Ed, Edd n Eddy. Eddy's brother is allowed only because enough has been revealed of his personality to establish him, and he is referenced in a number of episodes. EVERY show has cameo appearances. Such do not constitute a character, and are not notable to be mentioned in a Wikipedia article. Parent's arms, penpals, one time appearances, and figments in Jimmy's dreams are not characters. -- Elaich talk 03:50, 21 September 2007 (UTC) [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:MCDSentinels.jpg)Thanks for uploading Image:MCDSentinels.jpg. The original (which you restored) seemed to me to contain a lot of unnecessary and unverified psychological observations (which I saw as Original Research). My edit removed those, and addressed the plot summary tag that was there, which I will restore in a moment. Since I wish to better myself, I would like to know what I did wrong, so as not to repeat my mistake. Larrythefunkyferret (talk) 05:53, 17 February 2008 (UTC) Many thanks. Any remaining issues can probably be resolved with citations from the game manual, assuming you have it. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kruthik and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
