I have been lurking around Wikipedia for a while, mostly as a bemused bystander, with a couple of occasions for minor edits. I would like to contribute in a more substantial way, so this is my first halting step.
I am a professional musician, mostly performing 20s and 30s gypsy swing music on upright bass, with a suspiciously eclectic background.
I am also an amateur mathematician, though I don't claim any greatness, I have found that I have good intuition about math and enough love to keep returning to the study. I also have burning interests in brain/mind study, social justice and history, music theory and practice.
Someday I would like to be able to implement ideas about phase space visualization; harmonic analysis; real-time harmonic visualization; crank cryptography; education and human potential; factor analysis...
I welcome any suggestions, etiquette tips, pointers. I believe a good starting point will be to find or create some stubs to flesh out.
I will be putting markup experiments on this page until they need to be spun off.
