Zemuzil, Duke of Pomerania

Zemuzil (fl. 11th Century) is a shadowy figure who is the first recorded Duke of Pomerania. In Polish literature the name is sometimes spelled Siemomysł.
The only record in 1046 describes him as "Zemuzil dux Bomeranorum", Latin for Duke of the Pomeranians. The record referres to a settlement of a conflict with Casimir I of Poland reconciled by Henry III, Holy Roman Emperor.
