Zell an der Mosel is a municipality in the district Cochem-Zell, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Zell is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Zell.

Zell is known for its white Riesling wines, such as Zeller Schwarze Katz. The river Mosel runs through the town, which overflows every couple years, an event the locals have come to expect, but hardly embrace. A hospital and a home store called Globus (much like Wal Mart) mark the commercial center atop Zell-Barl, a suburb nested on a hill, providing health care and general home shopping needs for families in all the nearby villages and towns. The quaint beauty of the rolling green hills plastered in vineyards and wild forests captures the senses and inspires a sense of awe.
