GREEN PARTY PROGRAM PRINCIPLES

INTRODUCTIONS

Green Party is ecological, humanistic, political organization whose principles are based on the UN constitution of human rights, ecological, democratic and pacifistic principles as well as on the rights and obligations of all the people on the planet, to take care of and upgrade her life, no matter what race, religion, sex, nationality or political orientation they are. Green Party gathers ecologically conscientious, democratically orientated and politically responsible people, who wish to reach goals in protecting the living environment and democratic development of the society as their contribution to the future generations. Considering this, Green Party cooperates with all ecological, green and democratic parties, ecological and other government and non government organizations and all the other institutions with similar goals.

PRINCIPLES ON THE NATURE

The act of mankind brought us to the serious disturbance of ecological balance. Considering that, this way, there are destructive influences onto the nature and its existence becomes a question, the work of Green Party is concentrated, in a first place, on the protection of living environment.

PRINCIPLES ON THE HUMAN RIGHTS

According to Universal Declaration about human right, our party designation is a fight for establishment of the living rights, political rights, law protection rights, personal property rights, freedom of thoughts together with all other rights proclaimed by this declaration.

PRINCIPLES ON DEVELOPMENT

Green Party aims for social-economical development, based on the principles of sustainable development - this means the link between ecological and economical criteria in economic development and use of Agenda 21. Considering society – these aims refer to the humanization, social solidarity development and global healing.

PRINCIPLES ON THE POLITICS

Green Party pleads for introduction of democracy and democratic parliamentarism, but against any kind of totalitarity or oligarchy. Green Party treasures regional approach to the economic, political and cultural questions (which also means – rich and close cooperation between regions) in order to avoid the centralization of society.

PRINCIPLES ON ENERGY

G.P. speaks against manufacturing and use of nuclear energy as well as all other kind of energy whose ageneses and waste can not be brought to completely inactive form during and after use. We will work on introducing and use of alternative energy sources as wind, sun, water, bioenergetics materials etc.

PRINCIPLES ON RESOURCES

G.P. works on preserving and upgrading the quality and the rational use of water, air, land, and other resources in urban as well as in rural regions according to suggestions of development of economy and tourism.

PRINCIPLES ON NOISE VIBRATIONS AND ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION

Harmful influence of noise, vibration and electromagnetic radiation on the human organism depends on the intensity and the time period of exposure, and these are the risk factors that, more and more, jeopardize a modern man. We work on their elimination and avoiding the consequences by adequate protection if the elimination is not possible.

PRINCIPLES ON PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH

G.P. speaks in favor of proper development of physical health and its preserving by upgrading the quality of food, preventive health protection as well as upgrading cultural state of social and individual life. Our ideas are directed in overcoming social abnormalities as, all kind of socially pathological behavior, mental filth, moral erosion and all the other factors that, in a similar way, riot individual and social health.

PRINCIPLES ON DANGEROUS AND TOXIC MATERIAL

Mankind and nature should be protected from the influence of dangerous and toxic material used in medicine, economy and science, in a way that is proclaimed by the law and even at the higher level of protection. G.P. works on replacing these materials with alternative, less dangerous or non dangerous materials, that don’t give a chance of bad interactions. We should pay special attention to nuclear technology and genetic engineering in order to avoid potential destructive influence.

PRINCIPLES ON DEVELOPMENT

Plan should be linked with the concept of constant development and define quality and quantity resources for the future generations.

PRINCIPLES ON EDUCATION AND CULTURE

Apart from economical and society jeopardize, our country threatens cultural imperil - loss of cultural identity as a result of poverty emigration, basic processes of globalization of world economy and totalitaristic regime during a significant period of time. G.P. works on quick development of education and culture, and most specific on rising the ecological conscience of the population, especially young generations, trough the educational systems from the very beginning in pre - school institutions and primary schools.

PRINCIPLES ON INFORMING

G.P. speaks in favor of open and independent flows of information’s and complete freedom of media according to historical achievements of citizen democracy and freedom of the press.

PRINCIPLES ON ETHICS

Ethical approach should be built in all aspects of life and on all the levels of interest and usefulness of living environment. It is important to develop a sense of responsibility towards saving the ECO system. G.P. works for respect of codex of high moral standards and quality criteria of life all together. That means that we should develop and respect the side of legislature dedicated to ecology and reconcile it with international standards and ecological law.

PRINCIPLES ON INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

G.P. as a member of association named World Ecological Parties, speaks in favor for cooperation with all, domestic and foreign green, eco and democratic subjects on the principles of full respect and exchange of political experiences, as well as scientific cultural and technological achievements and innovations in order with strategy of constant development. Trough its programs of cooperation with other countries and institutions, G.P. will participate in all the programs of global and regional importance for development and preserving the living environment and also the human civilization in all.
